A PAINTING'S VISUAL PATH IS ITS GPS

One way painting is like music is this: Regardless of the complexity of a piece of music, we're guided through it by a melody or a chord progression--the GPS of the piece. In painting, we might not realize it, but the way we emphasize various elements within acts as a visual GPS, guiding the viewers' eye around the piece.

CREATING VISUAL PATHS Workshop

In our next live stream Workshop on April 3, we will explore how we can do that effectively in our paintings. We will learn the tools that keep the eye flowing through the painting, rather than the viewer's eye taking a glance and moving elsewhere OR worse, simple not knowing where to look.

Our workshops are fun experiences. Once you register, the process begins.

• You'll receive a Syllabus to get you ready for the experience

And on the day of the Live Stream, you will receive

• Instruction that teaches you a how to see visual paths and how to use them in your painting

• A full demonstration showing how to use this concept

• An assignment for practicing the process over the next five days following the live stream session

On the next day there will be

• A Study Hall to answer questions and hang out with your classmates

THEN, you will have

• Full email support from Dianne while doing the assignment

• A 45 minute private coaching session with her to assess your assignment and answer any questions you might have.

The teaching session will be live streamed via Zoom and will last two to three hours. You will be able to see all your classmates and talk live with them and with Dianne

The Workshop is limited to 10 people, but we will offer it again later this year should more than 10 want to sign up. The cost is $158. We're taking Registrations now, but will stop at midnight March 31 or when spaces are no longer available.
