Every wet medium we use has potential for many kinds of brushstrokes. Even the success of dry mediums like pastels and colored pencils depend heavily on how they are stroked. I confess I had not given much thought to our brushstrokes having a history until I watched a YouTube video by Jill Poyerd.
So for this week's tip, rather than give you a lesson as usual, I'm going to share with you this video. There are three, in fact, but the other two will follow the first one. I think you will be enlightened and surprised.
